It could be the herpes simplex virus, aka chicken pox. Herpes has a lot of variants. Chicken pox is viral type or airborne. Thru respiratory droplets, meaning you got it by being near someone who has it, and not necessarily having sex or any bodily contact.

Lip herpes or the other kind? l do not think either are deadly. Lip herpes you can get from anyone by just drinking after them. The other herpes you can get from your mom when she gives birth to you.

You could have shared a glass or drink or even food, lip gloss, lipstick-anything that touches the lips or mouth, really- with someone and got it that way.
It could even be a simple cold sore, which is a form of herpes and goes away after time, but stays dormant in the body.

if ur talkin about a coldsore (lip) theyre kinda fuckin with ya, it is technicly herpess but everyone gets em.

but if its the real deal, im not too sure how u could catch it w/out having sex, maybe toilet seat? not to sure if possible but u dont have alot of scources.

Calm down..herpes is not a death sentance, people very rarely die of either oral or genital herpes. Out breaks r a pain in the u know where but thats about it. You can leaarn & play violin, if u get really good at it then show them how good u r even if u have herpes. You can visit hawaii, get married & have kids if u want to.
If u have the oral type (cold sores) u can get that type through other ways then kissing. It could have come from a relative giving u a kiss on the cheek when u were a child & too young to remember an out break happening & never had one since. This is how some people get oral herpes. You could also get oral herpes by sharing water bottles, cigarettes, chap stick, utensils with some one who has cold sores (which r oral herpes). 80-90 percent of the population has it so they r kind of common to have. You may not want to tell ur friends about it just yet, because u could earn a bad reputation to live with through high school. Some people think that people with herpes r dirty or promiscuous. There is no telling how they would react.
If u have never kisseed any one then l doubt that u have had sex yet so we can rule out the genital type of herpes.
l have oral herpes & genital herpes. l have a job, a boy friend that l am living with, planning on having kids, l play piano & violin before & after l knew l have herpes. So u can have a full life when u have herpes. Just do not shut the world out, go out & acheive what ever it is u want to do in life.
