l have an Dr is appointment later today, but I've been doing some online research, and nothing seems to really match my symptoms. What do you think it could be?

Symptoms: Painful urination/intercourse (almost like UTI-type pain), last night l noticed yellow/greenish discharge, and the inside wall of my vagina near the urethra seems swollen. The discharge does not smell at all, and there is no itching.Any ideas?

Write down all of ur symptoms & when they occurred so that u will not omit anything when u talk to ur doctor.

Since they will be testing, u will have & answer but possibly not this afternoon.

Does not sound like a simple yeast infection so it probably is an STD unless it is a UT l (urinary tract infection) which could spread since women have no way to prevent that. But the discharge suggests to the contrary.

If it is a UT l u will be put on antibiotics which will probably kill off the friendly intestinal bacteria so do not forget to take acidophilus afterward to restore a healthy balance. This applies to STD treatment as well.
( l prefer cranberry capsules to antibiotics for UTIs - taken at the same doisage frequency as an antibiotic - works well for me.)

Next thing is to decide how to inform ur sexual partner because they will need to be treated also.

In answer to the direct question: possibly Chlamydia or Gonorrhea - hope not but not sure from ur lack of itching symptom.
