in 05 l was dignose hpv.i was in treatment for about 2 years. in between that period of time l develop genitals warswhich l was teated for and were gone imediatly... early 07(march) my PAP was normal and ever since till this day 10/1/08 all my Paps have being normal .so now l wonder ifl can have unprotected sex with my boy frien . oh by the way he is still the same sex parner i've had for the past 4 years.... is it safe for him? and is it safe for me?

its never safe to have unprotected sex! he gave you hpv and warts!

It is not safe until he is been tested also. Because in that time u may have given a virus/infection to him (even when using condoms, hpv can still spread from skin to skin contact) which he could give back to you. And it would just pass back & forth.

If l were you, l would go with my bf to the clinic, & have both of u tested. Then u can also talk to someone about having unprotected sex once u get negative results back (hopefully!) & make sure ur birth control is a good method still ( l assume you're not trying for a baby.) It is only ever OK to have unprotected sex if u know FOR SURE that neither of u have any STI's, & you're not just guessing. (and also when u r both monogomous, & have a reliable form of birth control, hopefully that goes without saying)
