l frenched kissed a girl at a party,we did nothing else. this girl has slept around a bit. about 2 weeks later l gota cold, my symptoms wear dry cough, fatigue and loss of appetite however l did not have any diarrea. this illness went away after about 4 days, but the thing thats really freken me out s that l ha e white thrush on my toungue that wont go away, l understand this to be symptom of hiv. l am on antibiotic, but the thing is l dont know if lhad the white toungue prior to kissing the girl.l also had a few cuts on my gums at time of kissing, but neither of ous were bleeding. plse could you also answer these questions,1.is white toungue common or is it a definite sign of hiv, and if your on an antibiotic will it contribute to it, and also how long will white toungue last after going off antibotics. and 2.i heard somewhere that hiv symptoms dont show untill years after exoposure is this true

Sometimes there will be immediate symptoms of HIV exposure. Sometimes there will be none.

But bottom line, it is highly doubtful you were exposed through kissing, unless she had open wounds in her mouth. You get it from blood, not saliva.

Do you know if this girl has HIV or AIDS or are you just jumping to conclusions? Last time l was taking antibiotics it made my tongue turn green but l did not think l contacted an disease. Look up AIDS on wikipedia.org and check symptoms. Also it takes a gallon or so of spit exchange to exchange the HIV virus. We learned that in school.

If the other person has HIV AIDS & u have a tear or open wound inside of ur mouth it is possible. Even if u think u may not have an open wound, just think if u brushed ur teeth too hard this morning & ur gums started to bleed, open wound. It is possible.
You would be very unlucky to get HIV from french kissing, but gonorrhoea can be caught both by french kissing & oral sex.
Not AIDS unless u both have an open sore in ur mouths, however u can pass herpes that way if the other person currently has a sore (cold sore)
In one of my nursing classes, we learned that to get AIDS from saliva u would have to drink approximately ten gallons of spit. So, no, u r not at risk for getting AIDS. You could get oral herpes if u kissed someone with a cold sore. That is about it.
