l have fallen hard for this amazing man, and we were coming close tobecoming intimate so l decided that l should tell him about my hpv. At first it seemed to not be a problem with him. We started to have sex (unprotected) but he quickly changed his mind after he had already put it almost all of the way in. l was miss informed by doctor that it is not transmitted via mouth so l preformed oral sex for him, but after further research on internet found that that was not safe to do for him, and l do not wanna have given it to him. Please help.!!! doc. is not help in much. WHAT TO DO?????

Your error was in having unprotected sex. l know it ''ruins'' the mood, but its better to use a condom and be safe than spread infectio to your partner..i do not mean to preach ., but that is the facts!

i'm afraid u do not need to have a full intercourse to transmit hpv. it is enough that ur intimate mucus have some sort of a contact to transmit it. it can also be transmitted through skin contact in intimate area (so not even condoms r completely safe, which is a big problem).
if u have hpv in mucus of ur mouth, it can be transmitted to him by oral sex, but the articles l read do not have the same opinion on that.
but intimate contact u two had. that is a problem.

many people have hpv, have good relationships & share the problem so u will too. maybe it was just too much information for him at that point.

Ask your doctor this: Doesnt everyone have atleast one strand of HPV? Yep basicly everyone has it so chances are you didnt give him anything he didnt already have. Remember the HPV commercial? Where the moms like ''OH l WANT MY DAUGHTER TO BE ONE LESS TO BE INFECTED WITH ONE OF THE FEW CANCER CAUSING HPV STRANDS'' People wil tell you its not true but ask your doctor only they know whats right, not Mr l got my Degree in the Cacker Jacks Box.
