l know the majority of Philipinos are Catholic. But noone can deny, there are alot of prostitutes and foreign customers of prostitutes in the country. My own country, where prostitution is a minor problem reports estimated 80,000 hiv sufferers. The Philippines reports 2000 one of the lowest in the world. I am always told the government is corrupt but surely they would not lie about something so dangerous. But having said that l always practice safe sex because Im really suspicious of the figures. Whats happened is god protecting the philippines from HIV or is the government hiding a dangerous and potentially massive problem?

Sometimes the governments do hide facts that can keep tourists away .Also some countries are not as lax as us with sex.
