me and my boyfriend had sex with no condom, now my vagina is sore inside and it hurts when l pee. l have a tummy ache. l told him about it and says he is fine, have l got an STI? if so which one? surely if l had one my boyfriend would too?

its been about an hour and l no longer have the urge to pee, my tummy ache has gone however my vagina is still quite painful and has a slight burning sensation. l took nurofen. hopefully it will get better, my boyfriend looked on the internet and found alternative explanations, such as too much sex, not enough lubrication due to no condoms, some people also said it could be a allergy to his ejaculation.
i forgot to mention for the hell of it we tried out orgasm gel from anne summers, but did not put it inside my vagina...

You could have a UT l or Yeast Infection. Consult your doctor. These can be signs of a more serious condition. Many men show no signs of an STD or Infection.

its impossible to tell which one you may have as there are loads to me it sounds like you may have a urine or bladder infection but you need to go to the doctor and your bf is wrong its not ''fine'' that is an immature thing to say he just doesnt want to believe there might be a problem. ignore him , go to a doctor or family planning clinic, get yourself sorted and tell your bf to grow up and rubber up.

The symptoms u describe could be a urine infection but u wo not know until u see ur GP & get swabs/urine tests.

Some STDs like Chlamydia show little or no symptoms for men but cause infertility in women if left untreated so its very important that u get checked out. If u r unlucky enough to have an infection then make sure to ask the doctor about getting ur boyfriend treated too.

Make sure u use condoms as a precaution against STDs, unwanted pregnancy & HIV infection.

It could be simple trauma, but infection cannot be excluded, either a UT l or an ST l or even both. Firstly many STIs produce few if any symptoms in males, also men ( and women) lie, so l am afraid you can never be sure! Only way to be certain is to have a GUM check up.

If u r from England, the best thing to do is find ur nearest GUM clinic, u can search this on google. l am sure that there r similar type places in other countries too. When u go to a GUM clinic they test u for everything from chlamydia to a yeast infection. Results usually take a week to come back. If u have an infection then u will probably have to go on medication & ur boyfriend will have to get tested too even if he shows no symtoms. It sounds a bit like u have a yeast infection (thrush), but get tested just in case.
