swollen lymph nodes can happen from thousands of different problems. most likely it is a bacterial or viral infection. an std could cause this if you have reason to believe you have an std. otherwise it could be any infection

l think you should go to the doctors, be on the safe side, see if theres a serious problem that need to be checked out before it gets to late and other things go wrong, l never heard of an std in your throat, maybe around the mouth or something
